How Metformin
works & its benefits
works & its benefits
Metformin (generic Glucophage) is a prescription medication that’s used to treat Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes.
It lowers blood glucose by reducing the amount of sugar your liver releases into your blood and by helping the muscle cells to take in blood glucose for energy.
Prescription products require an online consultation with a physician who will determine if a prescription is appropriate.
Lowers blood glucose
Metformin has been prescribed to patients for 60 years and is very well studied to lower blood glucose effectively.
Better insulin sensitivity
Your cells are able to absorb and use sugar more effectively, which reduces the amount of sugar in your blood.
Lowers body inflammation
Studies suggest the blood glucose lowering power of metformin often improves total body inflammation. *
Minimal side effects
The most common side effects are stomach cramps and diarrhea, which often disappear with the right adjustments.

What our patients are saying
Epic deal!
50 bucks for my 3 medications, the physicians, the labs, the pharmacists, the diabetes care specialists, the nutritionists. I never even had a nutritionist. That is really, really epic. There's nothing to dislike about the program.
Not just your regular care team
First of all, they all work together to help me - how awesome is that? Second, the conversations have been just really nice, it feels like chatting with a friend. Molly totally understood my situation and came up with realistic suggestions. You should try it for yourself!
Saves time and money!
It's basically what I have been doing to take care of my diabetes, but a lot more convenient. It saves time and money! I love the piece of mind, that my meds are coming automatically and somebody watches out for my values.
Meds from home!
I think it's a very helpful, convenient service. And especially since people are kind of used to not going to pharmacies or stores now, you know, it's delivered to your house and you don't have to worry about anything... I've got friends with diabetes that I would be happy to share with about 9am!
